Crystal Cruises Eliminates Fuel Surcharge for 2009 Cruises
As a result of the continuing drop in oil prices, Crystal Cruises is eliminating its fuel surcharge for all 2009 cruises, effective immediately.  For bookings already under deposit, Crystal will adjust each booking within the next two weeks, eliminating the fuel surcharge.  New bookings will not be charged a fuel surcharge.  Bookings paid in full will receive a shipboard credit in the amount of the assessed fuel surcharge.  Crystal Cruises will continue to monitor fuel costs and reserves the right to reinstate the surcharge for both existing and future bookings.  This revised policy is effective immediately and applies to all cruises departing on or after January 1, 2009.

Crystal Cruises is pleased to announce our 2010 itineraries are available for priority waitlist and our World Cruise is open for sale. You will celebrate a varied balance of destinations between the cosmopolitan cities of Europe, the charming culture of Australia and New Zealand and the exotic areas of the Middle East and Africa. Crystal Cruises has created a global collection of itineraries spanning 174 ports in 70 countries on 62 voyages. We have set 17 cruises at 10 days or fewer - almost double those in 2009.

Our Mediterranean voyages (13 of them) have at least one overnight including Barcelona, Istanbul, Monte Carlo, Athens, Sorrento and Venice. Our spring voyages include overnight calls in Honolulu, Auckland, Sydney, Singapore, Yangon, Dubai and Safaga. 2009 Crystal Assurance Plan

This new plan includes several policies that will guarantee you, as well as your clients, the security and peace of mind that you are making the right choice when you invest in the World’s Best.

Price Guarantee and Protection: If you book a 2009 cruise and the fare for their stateroom category is later reduced, your client will be protected at the reduced fare.* 
Lower Deposits: Crystal has lowered 2009 cruise deposits from 10% to 5% for all itineraries (except 2009 World Cruise and its voyages). In addition, we have reduced required deposits for 2010 World Cruise from 20% to $1,500 (CP, PS & PH) / $1,000 (AA, A, B & C). Furthermore, we’ve extended the 2010 World Cruise full deposit deadline to March 1, 2009.
Extended Options: Crystal will increase the option period from three days to seven before your clients deposit is required.
Cancellation Period Reduction: Your clients may now cancel their cruise from 75 up to 45 days prior to sailing without penalty on all 2009 itineraries (except 2009 World Cruise and its voyages).
